3) Thermomix Warranty & Repairs Policy

Thermomix has been manufactured to exact standards using only the highest quality materials and will give you many years of service provided it is operated and maintained correctly. Thermomix and Varoma carry a FREE 24-month warranty against faulty parts and workmanship when used in a domestic environment .

(Note: In commercial use, we guarantee that the motor shall be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months and 6 months for others components of the Thermomix.)

This warranty is not valid if repairs have previously been undertaken by anyone other than a Fantan authorized technician or if the fault has been caused by misuse, negligence or alterations to the product by anyone other than an Fantan authorized service technician.
Your ‘Operating Instructions for Thermomix’ Manual provides remedies for common malfunctions including the motor stopping during operation due to weight overload.

Consumable parts

The butterfly, measuring cup, spatula, rotary knife, lid and lid seal ring are all classified as consumable parts which are not covered by the Thermomix Warranty.

Spare parts

The Thermomix TM31 spare parts are guaranteed for 1 year (except for consumable parts) from the invoice date. Vorwerk’s Thermomix systems are repaired with original spare parts up to 10 years after delivery. Spare parts are not available for models that were discontinued more than 12 years.
Repairs

All motors are electronically balanced and computer registered. Being computer registered means that we can determine how the TM31 has been used and which function were used mostly. All repairs can therefore only be carried out by our own repair service. Firm repair prices cannot be given before the appliance is inspected by our repair service.

Extended Warranty

Limited for residential users only, you may have an option to buy another 36 months extended warranty against faulty parts and workmanship when used in a domestic environment . If you are interested or need more information please contact your Thermomix consultant.

Within this period, Thermomix in Canada will repair or replace, at its option, defective parts at no charge. This warranty only applies if the machine is used and cared for in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Vorwerk ‘Operating Instructions for Thermomix’ Manual provided at the time of purchase.
